HENRIETTA was born on October 8, 2023, over tears and a cup of espresso, on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, out of fear and fearless optimism. Inspired by the legacy of trailblazer Henrietta Szold, our story is infused with history and with the belief that we can and should do always better. As Szold said, each and every single one of us “deserves to dream and always dream big.” We dig up our past in order to illuminate our future and because this defines who we are. Our tee shirts are designed to be billboards. In every style is a story — our story. HENRIETTA is here to carry the torch and tell those stories. They are literally the miracle of who we are.
